They thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities.

I have gradually downgraded my rating of this show as it has progressed.. Sad really, as it started out very cool. Betamonk said 1 year ago

Oh shit, haha, I don't even know what to say to that. shah said 1 year ago

Regarding one of Shah's spoilers: http://gfx.dagbladet.no/pub/artikkel/5/55/550/550595/star10_1224231191.jpg Betamonk said 1 year ago

In my opinion, if they weren't so damn concerned with already pushing season 2, they could have made a really masterful ending to season 1 which would have made the first season stand on its own as a really good action show. Instead we get a half-assed conclusion to a 23-episode build-up. Slightly disappointing, but I guess that's what you have to do to not get cancelled in the States. shah said 2 years ago

lol I finished watching season 1, so maybe wait. No big spoilers exactly, just my opinion on the ending. Betamonk said 3 years ago

Well, now I am afraid to click! ;) shah said 3 years ago

Well, finished the season now, can't say I loved the ending, but it was a decent show nevertheless. Hiro is great though, he saves this from being somewhat dull in my opinion.
I'll probably watch the next season too though, as it's one of relatively few SciFi-shows that has a decent production. :)

Sylar is fucking annoying. Totally unconvincable as a villain. Apparently he's really flamboyant in real life, which makes it even worse. I don't know, I was instantly disappointed when they showed him in the show and I'm still trying to get over it.

He's been confirmed as Spock, even attended the press conference held for the movie at Comicon, but you never know, the director (the guy who writes "Lost") might get some sense in his head.

lol I have 7 or so left, so it's safe, not that big a spoiler anyway. :) Betamonk said 3 years ago

Wait...up to what episode have you watched? I don't know if I should read your comment or not ;) shah said 3 years ago

Now I have 8 episodes left. It did get better, but as the show as a whole picked up, Sylar stepped in to annoy me instead... Hope to god he doesn't become Spock.. Oh well, nothing can be perfect I guess. :) Betamonk said 3 years ago

It gets better further into the season I think. I don't know, maybe it's just me, I just really like the feel and mood of it. It's not groundbreaking, but I think very exciting and keeps you hooked. And Hiro is awesome. shah said 3 years ago

I've just watched 8 episodes so far, but can't seem to figure out where all the love from all the people with good taste come from..
I like it and all, it's decent, but no more so far.. Maybe I'm just being silly here, but what makes this great, not good..? I'll be back when I've seen it all, maybe the rest of the season convinces me.
