A paranoid thriller about a family on the run from a natural crisis that presents a large-scale threat to humanity.
I agree that this is his worst movie (at least that I've seen). Characters that seemed to have importance, never really had any, and the full plot was obvious 1/3 into the movie.

Spoiler warning on this comment by webtonull! Want to see it?
This was trully weak sauce.. Only some skillfull craftmanship saved it from a skull-rating.
I see it's made as a b-movie, but why would anyone want to do that? It reminded me of "Invasion of the body snatchers", but I while I appreciate the dated aspects of that movie (which I love), it's just stupid to try to replicate this today.. At least that's my opinion.
Well, M. Night is now officially off my "to-watch" list. Getting the success he did with The Sixth Sense (and Signs) must have made him satiated, now left to making CRAP that he probably feels is important. I like social commentary, but not as blatant and inane as this, and that goes for Lady in the Water too..
Well, rant ended, let's see if his next film is a real one or another pet project he miraculously gets money to make.. Betamonk said 2 years ago

I won't pretend to know too much on the subject, but the movie gave me a Hitchcock vibe at times. Overall it was very enjoyable.

m. knight recently said in an interview that the film was supposed to be "bad", supposedly this was his attempt at a B movie. i'll still see it even though everyone i know hated it, mostly because zooey deschanel is awesome.

Even if that is true, I refuse to believe this deserves a skull-rating. You`re just giving it the lowest rating so that people will think you are intresting. It`s sad really.
